This is not a group for serious writers. Serious writers are welcome, of course, but this is a group for doodlers, journalers and curious daydreamers. This is no place for perfect grammar and punctuation. Sentences need not begin with capital letters. Words need not land in linear fashion on the page. Circles and unfinished thoughts are encouraged. Sketchpad instead of notebook is an option, because this is also a group for artists and visionary thinkers. Consider this group a catalyst, a playground, a cauldron, the spark that may lead to serious works of art. But in this group, we are going to petition the Muse, dive into our inner sanctums, and mine for inspiration through the use of various meditation techniques, writing prompts (that could be interpreted as art prompts), sharing, laughter and compassionate conversations. All in an attempt to coax joy, creativity and connection out of the crags from where they’ve been hiding.
